Cameron R Lorenc holds a master’s degree in psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Before his counseling career, he spent 20 years in sales and management. At 42, he returned to college to finish his bachelor’s degree; by 47, he completed his master’s degree. Cameron faced the challenge of starting a new career in mental health at 47 with no experience. He began by volunteering at a local children’s behavioral health facility, where he eventually secured a paid position. Over the next 10 years, he advanced to Assistant Director before the facility closed. He then transitioned to full-time counseling, a role he has embraced for over 25 years. Cameron is the father of 9 children, stepfather of 4, and grandfather to 39 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
