Slight Edge Adolescent Coaching

Slight Edge Adolescent Coaching brings individualized success coaching to the teens in your family. This program is "strength based" which means we identify the strengths of your youth and build on them!

Moms, dads, teachers and others all want success for their youth, and all succeed to a certain level. Slight Edge Adolescent Coaching helps take it to the next level through personal one-to-one coaching sessions that can be accomplished in our 12 week program. Tune-ups can be accomplished on an "as needed" basis in 30 or 60 minute sessions.

Many youth have an idea about what they want to accomplish, but run into three HUGE obstacles: (1) They don't want the "lecture" they anticipate will come with a request for assistance, (2) They don't want the "I told you so" ideas to come from their parents or other authority figures, and (3) They want full credit for the good things they do.

Success coaching is a forward thinking approach to motivation and personal improvement for youth. This program is designed to be grounded and realistic. It does not take a cheer leader approach to reinforce whimsical desires of youth, but gives strength to the power of motivation when applied with substance.

Success coaching strives to:

  1. Identify and develop meaningful dreams and desires.
  2. Identify and set realistic personal goals
  3. Clarify, define, or improve goals
  4. Overcome obstacles
  5. Achieve personal improvement
  6. Improve competence
  7. Overcome negative self talk
  8. Overcome fear of failing
  9. Ignite personal motivation/passion
  10. Achieve personal satisfaction
  11. Seek creative solutions
  12. Improve family relationships
  13. Stay on track

Be proactive! Get your youth enrolled! The sooner your youth is enrolled, the sooner they can begin feeling like they have the tools they need to make significant progress NOW!

Important Note: Success coaching is not psychotherapy. There is no "diagnosis" made and insurance companies do not reimburse for this program.
